Valentine's Celebrations

Valentine's began on Thursday for our family. Tabby and Daddy went on a date. Josue wanted to spend some time with her, so he took her out to eat at the Brick Oven and then Baskin Robbins. I helped her get ready to go by bathing her, fixing her hair, painting her nails, and dressing her. When Josue got home, she proudly showed off for her date by pointing out everything we had done. She did very well with him. The only minor set back was she was expecting Texadelphia for dinner. It's the only restaurant she knows to say. I was telling her she was going with Daddy to eat dinner, and then I asked her, "Where do you want to go?" Her reply was, "Eat" and "Eragaga". I had no idea what that was so I said, "Chick Fil-A?" "No". "Whataburger?" "No." I gave up because she knew what she was saying, and I had no clue. When I told Josue about the conversation, he said it was probably Texadelphia. I tried it later, and she said, "Yeah". She fussed a little when she was told she wasn't going to Texadelphia, but was perfectly fine a couple of minutes later. I am so glad they got to spend time alone. Here is the lovely couple.

On Friday we had our neighbor, Ava, over to decorate Valentine cookies. Yum!

Then that afternoon, some flowers arrived for Mommy. Totally surprised! They were beautiful roses. Joshua really liked them and wanted them for himself. I let him have the petals that were to be removed per the instructions, and he later planted the "flowers" in the front garden.

Saturday was Valentine's. There were presents, presents, and more presents. Josue and I commented that it was like Christmas all over again. The kids had fun. And I had dinner alone with my date that evening. Tabitha and I later argued over who was Daddy's date. I told her that he was my date, and she said, "Nooo. Meee." We went back and forth at least 5 times. Lucky Josue. He has two cute girls fighting over him.:)
